Philosophy of Ministry
Ministering to the needs of children is very important to us here at Grace Christian Center. We are committed to the task of reaching children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to present the Word of God to children in an exciting way that they can understand and experience the fullness of what God has for them.
We believe that God’s desire is to move in a powerful way to meet the needs of children. Our focus is to win kids to Christ, disciple them in the principles and values of God’s Word and equip them to live a life of faith, victory and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Children’s Ministry of Grace Christian Center is a ministry of excellence that reflects our desire to reach, teach and train children in the principles of God’s Word! Kids attending Grace Christian Center will be given the opportunity to know God, to discover His purpose, to experience His power and to actively follow after Him.
Church for Kids
Our Church for Kids is designed to teach the Word of God to boys and girls and to involve them in a regular worship service on a level where they can best enjoy, understand and benefit from the message of the Gospel. Kid’s Action Studio services parallel our adult services in many ways: praise & worship, Bible preaching, offering and altar calls. We also use other methods of teaching, such as puppet skits, drama, storytelling, costume characters and creative object lessons.
The Wednesday Night Show
The Wednesday Night Show is an exciting talk show featuring our host Sir Harry Wighams. Puppet skits, learning the memory verse with General Rosemary & Sergeant Carter, and object lessons from Professor Bon Bon Haagen Daz are just a few of the fun things we do. Exciting guests are interviewed to teach children Biblical principles.
Helps Ministry for Kids
We believe that children not only need to be trained in the Word of God, but should also be trained to be servants of God. Our Ministry of Helps Program, better known as “C.R.E.W.” is training children to be actively involved in serving the body of Christ. Kids can get involved in a variety of ministry opportunities such as: puppet team, drama team, praise & worship team, greeters, ushers and sound technicians. Whether it’s helping out in children’s church or assisting and working with adults, our kids love to serve God!
Super Star Store
The “Super Star Store” is our way of rewarding boys and girls who show themselves faithful to church and working hard. Kids can earn StarBucks by attending service, bringing their Bible, bringing visitors and participating in our Memory Verse Challenge. The Super Star Store is open the last Sunday of the month to encourage boys and girls to save up their points for exciting gifts and prizes.
